It was a hot Sunday, 7/2/1911, when Pres. Taft came to Marion for inspection of the National Soldier's Home, which is now the VA Medical Center. This photo is in front of the Commandant's home on the grounds. One copy is framed in 1/2" black wood frame, 13 1/2" hi and 27 1/2" wide. Hung in medical display, 1996-2001.
